Eastview received votes in the Class 2A preseason poll, but begins the season sitting just outside the top rankings. The Lightning defeated Shakopee 4-3 in overtime on Nov. 8.

Natalie Snodgrass recorded two points in the victory as the forward finished with a goal and an assist. Defenseman Cassidy Leininger had two assists, while forwards Kati Quaintance, Sally Nelson and Erika Geary each scored a goal for Eastview (1-0-0).

Eden Prairie, No. 2-2A, dominated its opponents in the first two games, cruising to an 8-1 win over Centennial on Nov. 6 and defeating Elk River/Zimmerman 4-1 on Nov. 8.

Senior forward Angie Heppelmann leads the Eagles (2-0) with three goals. Senior forward Charly Dahlquist has three assists and senior defenseman Isabelle Brosseau has two. Senior forward Rachel Werdin has a goal and an assist, while junior forward Anna Gravelle, senior defenseman Lauren Boyle and senior forwards Allison Koloski and Kelly Wolfe each have a goal for Eden Prairie.
