Lakeville South at Eagan
7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2

A homecoming is in store for Lakeville South coach Natalie Darwitz, who brings her Cougars team to her alma mater, Eagan, for a South Suburban Conference showdown on Tuesday. Darwitz starred for the Wildcats from 1996-2000.

Ok, so it's might not be that big of a deal for Darwitz, who has coached Lakeville South since 2011, and owns a 4-2 record against the Wildcats, including victories in both matchups with Eagan last year.

The No. 6 Cougars (4-1-0) enter the game against their league rivals looking to bounce back from a 4-0 home loss to No. 4-2A Hill-Murray on Nov. 25. The Pioneers' four goals were the most allowed in a game by Lakeville South this season.

Forwards Janna Haeg and Morgan Morse each have four goals and four assists to lead the Cougars.

Eagan (4-1-1) should be well rested after seven days without a game. The Wildcats' offense has been clicking lately. They have scored 16 goals and are 3-0-1 since losing 4-2 to Wayzata on Nov. 11.

Junior Brooke Madsen leads Eagan with five goals and five assists.
