Hill-Murray at Hastings
7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 8

Hastings is a sneaky-good team with enough talent around the ice to make a run as season winds down. The Pirates (11-3-1) have won four consecutive games and have not lost in their last six. They tied Mahtomedi 4-4 on Dec. 16.

Hastings features Kiki Radke, who has 20 goals and 12 assists on the year, while Brooke Weber has allowed just 15 goals and has a .945 save percentage.

No. 4-2A Hill-Murray (9-4-0) had its six-game winning streak snapped in a 4-3 overtime loss to Blake in the Kaposia Classic Invitational on Jan. 2. The Pioneers went on to finish third with a 6-0 victory over International Falls on Jan. 3.

Becca Zarembinski leads Hill-Murray with 12 goals and eight assists. The senior scored a goal in each game at the holiday tournament and recorded her first a hat trick of the season in the Pioneers' opening-round 7-4 victory over Bloomington Jefferson on Jan. 1.
