Lakeville North at Eastview
2 p.m.. Saturday, Jan. 10

A win over Eastview would be big for Lakeville North.

The No. 10-2A Panthers (11-4-1, 7-2-1) are battling through the South Suburban Conference and entered the week in second place in the standings behind Lakeville South, which is 10-0 in conference play.

Lakeville North lost to Eastview 4-3 in a nonconference game at the Warroad Hockeytown Holiday Classic on Dec. 26, and a victory over the Lightning in the conference matchup could provide the Panthers with a confidence boost as they close out the league season.

Morgan Manes is Lakeville North's top offensive threat. The junior leads the Panthers with nine goals, 11 assists and 20 points.

Abby Cooper has been a stalwart for Lakeville North. She has started every game in goal for the Panthers and is fifth in the state with a .947 save percentage and a 1.17 goals against average.

Eastview (8-7-1, 5-4-1) finds itself at a crossroads in goal. Four players have played in goal for the Lightning and no one has secured the starting role.

Kaitlyn Pellicci has logged more than 400 minutes while Lauren McMillan has the best goals against average (2.07) and save percentage (.895) in more than 220 minutes.
