Suburban East Conference rivals Cretin-Derham Hall and Stillwater renew their longtime duel when they meet Saturday for the first of their two regular-season games.

The Raiders are in transition this season after graduating standout and all-state player Paige Voight, who scored 34 goals and had 16 assists last season. Voight’s now at Merrimack, and Cretin-Derham Hall’s looking to Jordan Hansen to help lead the offense. The junior was the team's second-leading scorer last year with 15 goals and finished with 24 assists.

The No. 10-2A Raiders (1-2) also had to replace goalie Emma May, who graduated and is playing for Minnesota. As a senior, May went 19-4-3 with a 1.63 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. Freshman Megan Meyers has gotten the starting nod and has a 2.33 goal-against average with an .881 save percentage in three games.

Cretin-Derham Hall’s two losses have come against No. 1-1A Blake (4-1) and No. 3-2A Edina (3-0).

Stillwater hasn’t been able to get by Hill-Murray in the last two Class 2A, Section 4 tournaments, losing 3-1 in the semifinals last year and 4-1 in the championship two years ago.

The No. 18-2A Ponies (0-1) graduated their top three scorers but bring back defender Olivia Arkell, who had eight goals and 14 assists as a junior last year.

Goalies Katie Lottsfeldt and Caitlin Carter return after splitting time last season. Lottsfeldt went 7-7-1 last year with a 1.93 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage while Carter was 7-4-1 with a 2.31 goals-against average and an .896 save percentage.
