Lakeville South got a big game from goalie Chloe Crosby in a 3-2 loss to Hill-Murray on Nov. 28 as the senior turned away 36 shots. 

The No. 9-2A Cougars (3-2, 3-0) held a 1-0 lead after the first period before the No. 1-2A Pioneers (4-0) took control by scoring the game’s next three goals. Abbie Pearson and Janna Haeg had goals in the loss.

Halle Gill (5-5-10) and Emily Fischler (4-5-9) are the team's top point scorers while Haeg has four goals and four assists.

Crosby, meanwhile, has a 2-2 record with a 2.01 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage this season.

Breck had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 losst to No. 3-2A Edina on Nov. 28.

The No. 3-1A Mustangs (6-2) took a 1-0 lead on the Hornets before Emily Oden and Lolita Fidler scored in the second period to seal the win for Edina.

Grace Zumwinkle recorded a four-point game in a 9-1 victory over Roseau and had a goal in victories against No. 11-2A Chaska/Chanhassen and No. 7-1A Proctor/Hermantown, giving the junior the team lead in goals (10) and assists (5). Sydney Breza isn't far off the pace with seven goals and six assists.

Sydney Scobee and Jenna Brenneman have provided Breck with good goaltending since a 7-6 loss to No. 5-1A Warroad on Nov. 20. Scobee stopped 34 shots against Edina while Brenneman has a 1.10 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage on the season

The Mustangs won last year’s meeting with the Cougars 5-3.
