Cretin-Derhall Hall at White Bear Lake

White Bear Lake will try to play spoiler again when it meets Suburban East Conference leader Cretin-Derham Hall.

The No. 20-2A Bears (10-5-2, 4-3-2) handed the No. 10-2A Raiders (12-4-1, 7-1-1) their only conference loss of the season after scoring on two power plays and getting a goal from Danielle Menk in a 3-1 victory on Nov. 24.

In its last four games, White Bear Lake has tied Forest Lake twice and recorded a 3-0 win over No. 5-1A Thief River Falls at last week's Mid-Winter Border Battle in Blaine. The Bears also lost Blaine 7-1 in the tournament title game.

Cretin-Derham Hall dropped its opening game at the Eden Prairie Mid-Winter Meltdown to No. 6-2A Chaska/Chanhassen 4-3 but came back to defeat No. 8-2A Wayzata (3-1) and Roseau (4-2).

The Raiders resumed Suburban East play on Jan. 2 with a 7-1 win over Woodbury. Erin Meyers (8-7-15) scored three times in the win while Makayla Lenz (4-3-7), Mackenzie Molnar (6-13-19), Jordan Hansen (9-12-21) and Brianna Willier (2-3-5) each provided a goal.
