Lakeville South at Farmington

Farmington has played well against the South Suburban Conference's top teams. The Tigers (13-6-3, 8-5-3), who have defeated Eastview 5-2 and tied No. 14-2A Eagan 1-1, get another crack at league-leader Lakeville South on Jan. 29.

The No. 12-2A Cougars (16-5-2, 14-0-2) beat Farmington 2-1 on Dec. 19, but face a Tigers team that has won five of its past six games, including a 6-1 victory over No. 16-1A Owatonna.

Farmington sophomore forward Ellie Moser (28-11-39) had three goals and two assists in a 5-0 win over Apple Valley on Jan. 23, while freshman forward Bailey Kelley (17-8-25) has six goals and three assists in the last six games.

Tigers sophomore goalie Emily Auge (10-5-3, 1.63, .933) has shutouts in two of the past three games.

Lakeville South maintained its grip on the South Suburban after a 5-2 win over Eastview on Jan. 23. The Cougars, who play Shakopee three days before Farmington, need one win in their last two games to capture the conference title outright.

Junior forward Halle Gill (16-17-33) has scored in three straight games for Lakeville South and finished with two goals and an assist in the win over Eastview.
