Hill-Murray at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 15

Hill-Murray tests its relatively new lineup against defending state champion Eden Prairie on Tuesday in its season opener.

The No. 3-2A Pioneers lost nine letterwinners from last season but return leading scorers Abigail Boreen (16-37-53) and Bemidji State commit Lindsey Featherstone (13-20-33).

Also returning for the Pioneers is sophomore goaltender Ava Bailey, who went 14-1-0 with a 0.73 goals-against average, six shutouts and a .947 save percentage after sharing time with graduated senior Mari Johnson last season.

Eden Prairie (1-0) lost premium players Lauren Oberle and Kate Rydland, but senior forward Emily McLaughlin appears to be at home among the scoring leaders for the 1-2A Eagles.

McLaughlin recorded a hat trick and junior goaltender Alexa Dobchuk made 24 saves in the Eagles' season-opening 4-0 win over Lakeville South.
