Edina at Cretin-Derham Hall
7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18

Expectations are high this season for Edina, a program returning several key weapons at each position.

The No. 4-2A Hornets (1-0) did not disappoint in the season opener, toasting new coach Sami Reber's first game with a 6-3 win over last season's Class 2A state tournament runner-up, No. 2-2A Maple Grove.

Sophomore forward Annie Kuehl and junior forward and Minnesota commit Emily Oden each scored two goals in the win.

Cretin-Derham Hall did not open the season with a win, but a 2-2 tie with No.1-1A Blake on Nov. 12 wasn't a shabby start.

Senior forward Jordan Hansen and junior forward Erin Myers tallied goals for the No. 6-2A Raiders (0-0-1).
