Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids at Centennial
7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22

Despite being winless, Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids has shown it can compete with some of the state's top teams following a 4-3 loss to No. 10-2A Wayzata on Nov. 12 and 2-0 defeat to No. 8-2A Elk River on Nov. 15.

Panthers goaltender Sami Miller has been impressive while taking all three losses, with the junior posting a .916 save percentage.

A 5-4 loss to No. 2-1A Breck on Nov. 12 must have awoken Centennial (1-1), because the No. 9-2A Cougars responded with a 10-0 victory over Northwest Suburban Conference rival Totino-Grace on Nov. 15.

Entering the week with 19 combined points, talented junior forwards and future Division I players Gabbie Hughes and Anneke Linser will be tough for Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids to slow. Hughes (3-7-10) has committed to North Dakota while Linser (4-5-9) has said she's headed to Ohio State.
