New Prague vs. Orono
7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1

New Prague hasn't won since opening the season with a 4-1 victory against Proctor/Hermantown on Nov. 12, but senior forward Catie Skaja is more than capable of providing enough offense to get the Trojans back on a winning track.

The Minnesota commit leads No. 7-1A New Prague (1-3-1) in scoring with six goals and nine points -- which is second among players in the Wright County Conference -- and she will likely be the focal point of the Trojans offense in this league matchup.

Orono (2-1) enters the week on a two-game winning streak after beating Red Wing 3-1 on No. 15 and Bloomington Jefferson 1-0 on Nov. 22.

Senior goaltender Madeline Carlson has been key for the No. 12-1A Spartans, stopping 80 of 84 total shots to post a .952 save percentage and a 1.33 goals-against average.
