Mound-Westonka vs. New Prague
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6

A 2-1 loss to No. 10-1A Alexandria on Nov. 26 seems to have sparked Mound Westonka, as the No. 12-1A White Hawks (4-3) roared back with a 6-2 win over Prairie Centre on Nov. 29 and a 9-0 thrashing of Fairmont on Dec. 9.

Senior forwards Liz Schepers (7-8-15) and Ellie Burris (4-7-11) lead Mound Westonka in scoring, while Schepers also leads the Wright County Conference in points.

Goaltender Emma Polusny (.925 save percentage) stabilizes the White Hawks defense, and her primary objective Tuesday will be stopping shots from New Prague's Catie Skaja.

Skaja, aMinnesota commit, has racked up nine goals this season, which leads the No. 7-1A Trojans (2-3-1, 1-0-0) and the Wright County Conference.
