Marshall vs. Luverne
7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6

The Big South Conference is known for high-scoring games, but Tuesday's matchup between Marshall and Luverne may not live up to the billing.

Marshall (4-2, 2-0) began this season with two losses but has since won four consecutive games, including three in shutouts, and boasts a 1.33 goals-against average.

Junior forward Rachel VanKeulen (5-2-7) leads the Tigers in scoring, helping her team stay within striking distance of league-leader New Ulm in the Big South standings.

Luverne (3-1-1, 2-1-1) also is in position to challenge the Eagles for the top spot thanks to junior goaltender Emilie Bartels. The Cardinals' stalwart between the pipes has a 2.00 goals-against average and an impressive .950 save percentage.
