St. Cloud vs. Alexandria
5:15 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8

After recording its first loss of the season on Nov. 26, St. Cloud has won three straight, including its first two Central Lakes Conference games, to move into a tie with Sartell/Sauk Rapids for first place in the league standings with identical 2-0 records.

Forwards Allie Cornelius (3-6-9) and Gabbie Rud (6-3-9) give the Icebreakers (6-1-0) a dynamic 1-2 punch on offense, and both will be important as the team looks to stay in the conference title chase with a win over Alexandria.

The Cardinals (2-1) have yet to play a league game but carry a two-game winning streak into the week.

Senior goaltender Sarah Finley is the backbone for No. 10-1A Alexandria, stopping 63 of 65 shots and recording a shutout while playing all 153 minutes this season.
