Proctor/Hermantown vs. Blaine
7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 7

Fresh off winning the Schwan Cup Gold Division championship, Proctor/Hermantown seems to be peaking at the proper time to create the momentum necessary for a deep postseason run.

Senior forward Callie Hoff is back from a partial tear in her medial collateral ligament and has made an immediate impact with eight goals and 12 points in just four games. Senior forward Brionna Stafne maintained an offensive presence for the team during Hoff's absence, recording 13 goals and 24 points.

The No. 5-1A Mirage (12-3) have won 10 consecutive games.

Back-to-back losses to Northwest Suburban Conference rivals Anoka and Elk River two weeks ago seem distant memories for No. 6-2A Blaine, as the Bengals have outscored opponents 19-2 while winning three straight games.

The duo of junior forward Gabby Rosenthal (14-21-35) and sophomore forward Ramsey Parent (18-16-34) are among the conference leaders in goals (second and third, respectively) and points (fourth and fifth). Both players are committed to Ohio State.
