Eden Prairie vs. Edina
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3

Eden Prairie has distinct stars on offense and defense. Senior forward and Minnesota-Duluth commit Naomi Rogge (21-17-38) has more goals and points than any of the other skater in the Lake Conference, while junior Alexa Dobchuk has seven shutouts, the most of among league goaltenders.

The pair will likely be focal points as the No. 3-2A Eagles (12-3, 1-0) meet rival Edina, which enters the game unbeaten and the top-ranked team in Class 2A.

The Hornets (12-0-1) saw their winning streak end in a 3-3 tie with No. 2-1A Breck on Dec. 28, but Edina's balance and depth should help jump-start another run that could to carry it into the postseason.

Eight players have 11 or more points this season for the Hornets, led by junior forward and Harvard commit Lolita Fidler (11-14-25) and junior Minnesota commit Emily Oden (14-9-23).
