Farmington vs. Eagan
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10

For the first time in three games, Farmington will face a squad unranked in the state coaches' poll.

It may be the respite needed for a Tigers team (8-7-1, 3-6) that has struggled on offense, recording the fewest total goals (32) of any team in the South Suburban Conference.

Farmington offsets the low production numbers by boasting one of the top goaltenders in the league in Abby Bollig. The junior has a .940 save percentage and 1.34 goals-against average, which are the best in the conference among goalies with at least 51 minutes played.

The Tigers' defensive wall could provide a challenge for No. 16-2A Eagan's Taylor Anderson, a junior Minnesota-Duluth commit who leads the team with 17 goals and 28 points.

The Wildcats (9-5-3, 6-1-3) are unbeaten in their last four games, including a 2-0 win over No. 10-2A Cretin-Derham Hall on Dec. 28.
