Hill-Murray vs. Blaine
7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26

Hill-Murray had a six-game winning streak snapped in a 5-4 loss to No. 2-1A Breck on Jan. 20, which was just the second game the Pioneers have dropped in their last 16 contests.

The No. 2-2A Pioneers want for little on offense, with nine players totaling 11 or more points, led by junior forward and Minnesota commit Abigail Boreen (23-20-43). With Boreen taking care of the offense, sophomore goaltender Ava Bailey leads the defense for Hill-Murray (17-4, 8-0). Bailey currently ranks seventh in the state with a goals-against average of 1.26 and has posted six shutouts this season.

Blaine (16-3, 10-2) will attempt to break through Bailey with the well-documented and electric tandem of two Ohio State commits, junior forward Gabby Rosenthal (18-26-44) and sophomore Ramsey Parent (20-18-38).

Two of the Bengals' three losses have been by one goal, including a 2-1 loss to No. 5-2A Elk River/Zimmerman on Dec. 20, while the third came by two goals against No. 1-1A Blake on Jan. 19.
