Roseau vs. Thief River Falls

5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28

Two top outstate programs get an early shot at each other in this battle between Class 1A and Class 2A competitors.

Roseau's lone loss was a 2-1 defeat to No. 10-2A Minnetonka (4-1) on Nov. 17, and the No. 18-2A Rams have won three consecutive games since, a run capped by a 3-0 home win over No. 1-1A Breck last Saturday.

Roseau has relied on younger players in its early success, including sophomore Kayla Santl (6 goals, 2 assists).

Thief River Falls faces its first true test Tuesday, as the No. 7-1A Prowlers (3-0-1) have yet to play a ranked opponent.

Thief River Falls also has younger players stepping up, highlighted by freshman Shelby Breiland, who has four goals and three assists this season.
