Roseau vs. Brainerd/Little Falls

6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 15

Unlike some of the other matchups this week, this game has no impact on a conference race. Its outcome, however, will be meaningful when it comes to seeding in Class 2A, Section 8.

Brainerd/Little Falls (7-0, 3-0) has impressed this season with its undefeated start. The No. 9-2A Warriors are led by a goaltending tandem of junior Olivia King and senior Nicole Schultz. The two have combined for a 1.14 goals against average and a .936 save percentage.

Roseau, meanwhile, has struggled early on but rebounded with a nice weekend. The No. 17-2A Rams picked up a 7-0 win on Friday against Buffalo and defeated North Wright County 1-0 on Saturday.

Roseau (6-3, 1-1) is led by sophomore forward Kayla Santl. She has a team-high 10 goals this season and tallied four of those in Friday's blowout win.
