Eagan junior forward Megan Wolfe led the Wildcats' girls' hockey team in scoring last season. She has picked up right where she left off a year ago.
Wolfe opened the 2011-12 campaign with a hat trick and two assists in a 6-1 victory over Henry Sibley in a nonconference matchup. She registered three hat tricks as a sophomore.
Wolfe is coming off a season in which she produced 59 points (26 points and 33 assists) in 26 games.
The Wildcats finished with a record of 14-10-2 last year, losing 3-0 to Hastings in the first round of section play. Wolfe has her sights set on the Wildcats' season lasting a little longer this year, despite her squad not being ranked in top 20 teams in Class 2A by Let's Play Hockey.
