When a team ends its year with a loss to a rival and then has a rematch early the next season, that team is likely itching for a chance to exact a bit of revenge.

When it happens four times in a row, the itch evolves into frothing anticipation.

Breck meets Blake this week in a regular-season matchup that always carries past grievances. The Mustangs carry the weight of four consecutive losses to the Bears in the Class 1A, Section 5 finals into Saturday's showdown, but they have the strength to avoid buckling under behind a potent offense.

Breck is led by senior forward and Minnesota commit Grace Zumwinkle, the state's leading scorer with 21 goals, and senior forward Kendall Williamson (1-7-8), who is three points from entering the school's top 10 all-time scoring list.

Blake's offense runs on premium depth, with 15 players registering at least one point through the first eight games. The Bears are paced by junior forward and Dartmouth commit Sara McClanahan, who has three goals and 12 points.

With no love lost between these longtime rivals, their matchup is our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
