Jan. 3: The Raiders look to stay in the hunt for conference title by corralling the league-leading Mustangs.

Cretin-Derham Hall had a six-game undefeated streak snapped in a 2-0 loss to Eagan on Dec. 28, the first time the Raiders have been shutout this season.

Six players have scored 10 or more points this season for Cretin-Derham Hall, led by Anna Klein with 17 points, and their production has the Raiders (8-4-2, 5-2-0) in the hunt for the Suburban East Conference title.

Cretin-Derham Hall's next league game is against Mounds View, a team that has played its conference rival close in their last four matchups but hasn't found a victory.

In each of the past two regular-season series, the Mustangs tied the Raiders in the first game and lost the second by one goal.

Can Mounds View (10-3, 7-0) buck the trend this time?

To do so, the Mustangs must continue to get stellar play from goaltender Teagen Johnson, who's posted a 1.70 goals-against average while logging more than 630 minutes in goal. The sophomore also has two shutouts, the second most of any goalie in the Suburban East, and is one reason the Mounds View sits atop the league standings.

With the Mustangs attempting to protect their position in the conference and find their first win against the Raiders in two years, this matchup is our Top Game of the Week.
