Player of the Week candidates for Dec. 26-31

Kylie Hanley, Hopkins/Park. The junior forward contributed three assists to lead Hopkins/Park over Hayward and had two goals and an assist in a win over White Bear Lake.

Mannon McMahon, Maple Grove. The sophomore forward scored four goals – three in the third period – in a win against Lakeville South. McMahon also added an assist in No. 2-2A Maple Grove’s victory over Eastview.

Anneke Linser, Centennial. Linser contributed a hat trick and six assists in No. 8-2A Centennial’s dominating win over Buffalo. The junior forward also had one goal and two assists in her team’s victory over Thief River Falls. She is tied for first in the state with 32 assists and second in points with 50.

Paetyn Levis, Rogers. Levis tallied six points in Rogers’ Schwan Cup showing, including five goals and one assist in three games. She is tied for fourth in state in goals and tied for seventh in points.

Naomi Rogge, Eden Prairie. Rogge had two goals and one assist in No. 3-2A Eden Prairie’s win over Eagan, and she contributed one goal and two assists in a win over Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Rogge is tied for ninth in state in both goals and points.

Claire Butorac, Andover. Butorac led Andover to a division championship in the Schwan Cup, contributing five goals and four assists in three games.

Elizabeth Kubicek, Minnetonka. Kubicek backed No. 9-2A Minnetonka to three wins last week, including a 24-save shutout and a pair of one-goal games. The senior goaltender recorded a .972 save percentage over the three games.

Ally Frantzick, Breck. Frantzick stopped an impressive 48 shots to help the Mustangs record a 3-3 tie against No. 1-2A Edina. She also shut out Stillwater with 23 saves and stopped 22 of 23 shots against Eastview. Frantzick’s save percentage was .958 in those games.

Grace Zumwinkle, Breck. The senior forward contributed four goals and an assist in No. 2-1A Breck's win over Stillwater. Zumwinkle also had three goals and two assists in two other games last week.

Molly Garin, Holy Family Catholic/Waconia. Garin had two goals and three assists in a win over Irondale and added four goals and two assists to lead her team over North/Tartan.
