Class 2A
With a nearly perfect 15-0-1 record, Edina kept its No. 1 rank in the Class 2A coaches' poll.
The Hornets, who garnered 10 first-place votes, are 3-0 in the new year after beating No. 8-2A Eden Prairie, No. 14-2A Wayzata and Roseville by a combined score of 11-0. Senior goalie Anna Goldstein, a Middlebury College (Vermont) commit, is 10-0-1 with a .911 save percentage and two shutouts. Edina faces seven ranked opponents in its final nine games, including No. 3-2A Elk River and No. 1-1A Blake.
Sophomore Mannon McMahon leads No. 2-2A Maple Grove with 16 goals and 17 assists. McMahon had a shorthanded goal and an assist in the Crimson's 4-1 victory over Farmington on Jan. 4.
Eden Prairie (12-5-1) dropped from No. 3 to No. 5 after losing to Edina and No. 7-2A Cretin-Derham Hall and tying No. 8-2A Minnetonka since Jan. 3. The winless streak allowed Elk River and No. 4-2A Hill-Murray to leapfrog the Eagles in the rankings.
Cretin-Derham Hall (12-4-2) moved up three spots in the ranking thanks to its five-game winning streak, which includes three wins against top-15 ranked opponents.
Hopkins/Park (13-6-0) dropped from No. 11 to No. 15 and is 0-3 since Dec. 30, with losses to No. 6-2A Blaine, Minnetonka and Wayzata.
Shakopee, White Bear Lake and Grand Rapids/Greenway remained at No. 17, No. 18 and No. 19, respectively. Brainerd/Little Falls (15-1-0) earned the No. 20 spot after bouncing back from a Jan. 3 loss to Grand Rapids/Greenway with a 4-0 win over River Lakes.

Class 1A
Blake (15-2-1) remains ranked No. 1 with 10 first-place votes.
The Bears are on a seven-game winning streak, which includes victories over No. 12-1A Hibbing/Chisholm, No. 3-1A St. Paul United and No. 2-1A Breck. Izzy Daniel leads Blake with 10 goals and 14 assists.
Breck (12-4-2) and St. Paul United (13-3-1) maintained their rankings this week. The Mustangs will be test in their next three games as they face No. 11-1A Alexandria, Cretin-Derham Hall and Hill-Murray.
The United fell to Blake 3-0 on Jan. 3 and has a rematch with Bears on Jan. 17.
Warroad dropped from No. 4 to No. 6 despite beating Detroit Lakes 11-1 last Saturday. Madison Oelkers and Mariah Gardner each scored four goals in the game. Gardner added four assists, giving her an eight-point game.
Proctor/Hermantown (13-4-0) and Thief River Falls (12-5-0) moved up to fourth and fifth, respectively.
The rest of the top 10remained unchanged. Ninth-ranked Princeton is led by junior goalie Kara Schramel, who is leading the state with 15 wins. The Tigers are on an eight-game winning streak and have outscored their opponents 83-38.
South St. Paul (7-9-1) dropped from No. 13 to No. 15 and has recorded one win in its last seven games.
Owatonna (9-5-1) found its way into the top 20 after going 2-1-0 in its last three games.
