Class 2A
Edina remained top-ranked in Class 2A with 10 first-place votes for the fifth consecutive week after consecutive Lake Conference wins against No. 16 Hopkins/Park and No. 20 Minnetonka.
The Hornets (18-0-1) haven't allowed more than one goal in a game since their 3-3 tie with Breck on Dec. 28. The Hornets have outscored their opponents 26-2 in January. Goalie Megan Smith has relinquished one goal in five starts while Anna Goldstein is 13-0-1 with a .916 save percentage.
Hill-Murray (17-3-0) jumped from No. 4 to No. 2 after beating No. 3 Maple Grove, 2-1. Bemidji State recruit Lindsey Featherstone scored her second game-winning goal 23 seconds into the overtime period.
14-3-0 Maple Grove dropped from No. 2 to No. 3 after the loss, but responded with a 4-0 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper. The Crimson outshot the Falcons 53-9 in the win.
Elk River/Zimmerman dropped from third to fifth in the coach's poll after losing to unranked Anoka, 3-2. The Elks are 3-2-0 in their last five games and face three top-10 ranked opponents, including No. 1 Edina, in its next five games.
Brainerd/Little Falls (18-2-0) jumped from No. 20 to No. 14 after beating No. 10 Minnetonka and Class 1A-No. 9 Princeton by a combined score of 8-4. Sophomore goalie Olivia King leads the state with 17 wins.
Senior Allyson Smith scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the win over Minnetonka. The Skippers (9-7-3) dropped from No. 8 to No. 10 following the loss.

Class 1A
The top four Class 1A teams remain unchanged with Blake (18-2-1) receiving 10 first-place votes in the coach's poll.
The Bears haven't lost since Dec. 22 and have allowed just seven goals since then. Ten Blake skaters recorded points in a 4-1 win over No. 3 St. Paul United (14-4-1).
St. Paul United has lost to Blake twice in January, but retains the third spot in the coach's poll. Cornell University recruit Joie Phelps leads the Spartans with 47 points (20 goals, 27 assists). Phelps ranks third in the state in assists and ninth in points.
Thief River Falls (13-7-0) fell from fifth to seventh, allowing Warroad (10-7-2) to gain the No. 5 spot and Delano/Rockford (15-3-0) to climb to No. 6. The Prowlers lost to Warroad, 3-2, in a game decided by Madison Oelker's goal early in the third period. Oelkers, a junior, has committed to Minnesota State-Mankato.
Red Wing (11-5-2) jumped from No. 10 to No. 8 despite a 5-0 loss to unranked Moorhead.
Alexandria (10-7-1) surged its way into the top-ten for the first time this season and is on a four game winning streak. They beat Willmar and Detroit Lakes by a combined score of 15-2. Sophomore McKenna Ellingson notched for goals and an assist in a 9-1 victory over Detroit Lakes.
East Grand Forks (10-4-2) fell two spots to No. 14 following a 0-0 tie with No. 5 Warroad. New Ulm gained the No. 20 spot after beating Big South opponent Worthington, 10-1.
