Player of the Week revealed

This week's winner

Mary Kate Eiden, Holy Angels. The senior forward came through when the Stars needed her most, scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals to defeat St. Paul Blades 4-3. Eiden leads the Stars with 18 points this season.

Player of the Week candidates

Claire Belkholm, Cambridge-Isanti. The senior goaltender recorded her fourth shutout of the season, stopping 23 shots in a 3-0 win over North Wright County

Allie Cornelius, St. Cloud. Cornelius had a hand in all of St. Cloud's scoring in 4-3 win over Fergus falls, recording two goals and two assists. The junior forward leads her team in assists (12) and is tied for first in points (27).

Teagen Johnson, Mounds View. Johnson recorded 23 saves in 1-0 shutout win over Stillwater. The shutout was the fourth of the season for the sophomore goalie.

Brooke McMillen, North Shore. The senior forward scored twice, including the game-tying goal with less than two minutes remaining in the third period, and assisted on the overtime game-winner 24 seconds into the extra frame to defeat Eveleth-Gilbert 6-5.

Rachel Miller, St. Francis/North Branch. The sophomore goaltender made 42 saves in 1-1 tie with Buffalo, good for a .977 save percentage.

Liz Schepers, Mound Westonka. The senior forward tallied four goals and one assist in a 5-4 win over Holy Family Catholic/Waconia. Schepers not only leads her team with 25 goals and 52 points, but is tied for fourth in the state in goals and tied for sixth in points.

Julia Smith, Park Rapids. Smith, a senior, stopped 40 shots in 5-2 win over Crookston – a save percentage of .952.

Jordan Wurm, Buffalo. The senior forward scored a hat trick to lead Buffalo over Cambridge-Isanti 4-3. Wurm is tied for the team lead with 13 goals on the season.

Sophia Zebro, St. Francis/North Branch. The junior forward tallied three goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over Chisago Lakes. Zebro leads her team in goals (18), assists (13) and points (31).
