Eight players taking part in the girls’ hockey state tournament trace their roots to playing for years on the same summer team.

Eight players taking part in the girls’ hockey state tournament trace their roots and development to playing for years on the same summer team. Hard work brought them all success and a Division I college commitment:

• Lolita Fidler, Edina

• Crystalyn Hengler, Eden Prairie

• Anna Klein, Edina

• Emily Oden, Edina

• Joie Phelps, St. Paul United

• Emma Polusny, Mound Westonka

• Naomi Rogge, Eden Prairie

• Sophie Slattery, Edina

The rest of the core group of high school players from the team with Division I college commitments:

• Taylor Anderson, Eagan

• Lindsay Czech, Wayzata

• Kate Glover, Hopkins/St. Louis Park

• Stella Haberman, Hopkins/St. Louis Park

• Natalie Heising, Wayzata

• Tina Kampa, Maple Grove

• Catie Skaja, New Prague

• Tristen Truax, Shakopee

• Taylor Wente, Maple Grove

• McKenna Wesloh, Revolution Hockey Academy
