Princeton 4, Chisago Lakes 3, OT. Ellie Schwartz was the overtime hero for the Tigers, scoring the game-winner just over one minute into the extra frame. Schwartz also scored the Tigers’ first goal on a first-period power play. Eden Betzler tallied two assists in the win as Kara Schramel made 29 saves. Madison Lundeen scored two second-period goals  within two minutes for the Wildcats, and goaltender Brooklyn Nelson stopped 28 shots.

Lakeville South 3, Shakopee 2. It took Emily Fischler 23 seconds to bring the Cougars from a one-goal deficit to a one-goal advantage late in the first period, and Saylor Donnelly scored the final and game-winning goal for the Cougars in the second. Becca Macklin turned aside 18 shots in the win, and Camryn Ness made 34 saves for the Sabers.

Hopkins/St. Louis Park 3, Minneapolis 1. Amanda Olson factored into each of the Hopkins/St. Louis Park goals, scoring the first with two seconds left in the second and assisting on both third-period goals. Goaltender Emily Bolen made 23 saves in the win for a .958 save percentage. Erica Lieske scored the only goal for Minneapolis, while Lilah Schulz stopped 15 shots.

White Bear Lake 3, East Ridge 1. The Bears made the most of their special teams, going 2-for-3 on power play and scoring a shorthanded goal late in the third period. Sydney Shearen and Abigail DeLaRosa each tallied a goal and an assist in the Bears’ win as Calla Frank posted a .971 save percentage, making 33 saves in net. Fiona Claugherty scored the lone goal for the Raptors. Goaltender Lindsay Carlson stopped 24 shots.

Farmington 3, Apple Valley 0. Bailey Kelley’s goal 46 seconds into the game was all the offense the Tigers needed in a shutout win. The Tigers added two insurance goals on the empty net with less than 30 seconds in the final frame. Emily Auge turned aside all 21 shots she faced, while Keni Allen made 26 saves for the Eagles.

Wayzata 5, Orono 2. Sophie Urban and Emily Wisnewski each contributed two points in the Trojans’ five-goal night, as Urban notched the game’s first goal with six seconds left in the first period and added an assist in the second, and Wisnewski assisted on Urban’s goal and scored a power play goal early in the second. Grace Boswell-Healey recorded 20 saves in the win. Anna Lisle stopped 27 shots for the Spartans as Holly Harrison tallied the two Spartan goals in a three-minute span in the third period.
