Player of the Week revealed

Player of the Week winner

Kamryn VanBatavia, Luverne. In a 8-0 win over Worthington, the forward tallied seven points, scoring two goals and adding five assists.

Player of the Week candidates

Courtney Bloemke, Mankato West. The senior forward scored one goal and added five assists in a 7-5 win over Austin.

Eryn Fjelstad, Rochester Mayo. With her team trailing Faribault by a score of 2-0 going into the third period, the senior defender tallied one goal and two assists in the final frame to lead the Spartans to a 4-3 win.

Taylor Heise, Red Wing. The senior forward, who is tied for first in the state with 33 goals, started the scoring with a goal 39 seconds into the game, followed by four more goals and one assist in a 6-2 win over Rochester Mayo.

Crystalyn Hengler, Eden Prairie. The senior defender tallied four points on special teams (one short-handed assist, one power-play goal, two power-play assists) and an even-strength goal to lead the Eagles to a 6-1 win over Rochester Lourdes.

Alex Pellicci, Holy Family/Waconia. The freshman goalie had her third game of the season facing 40 or more shots, as she made 42 saves in a 3-2 overtime win over Hopkins/St. Louis Park.

Olivia Peterson, Marshall. The junior forward has found herself in rare company in Minnesota girls' high school hockey history by assisting on six goals in a single game, in a 9-2 win over Fairmont.

Maddie Schneider, Albert Lea. The freshman goaltender made 43 saves, posting a .977 save percentage in a 5-1 win over Austin.

Jocelyn Veary, Park of Cottage Grove. In a 3-1 win over Stillwater, the sophomore goaltender made 36 saves, posting a .973 save percentage.

Brooke Walters, Sartell/Sauk Rapids. The junior forward factored into all Sartell/Sauk Rapids goals, scoring two goals and adding two assists in a 4-3 win over Buffalo.
