Mackenzie Rugland, Forest Lake: The senior forward's offensive outburst (3 goals, 4 assists) in a 11-3 win over East Ridge set a new season-high for points. Her previous best was three points.
Top Performer candidates
Emma Barrick-Benson, Hutchinson: The senior goaltender recorded her fifth shutout of the season with a 2-0 victory over New Ulm 2-0. She kept a clean scoresheet with 39 saves – 19 of them in the third period.
Ali Beltz, New Ulm: The senior forward and the state's leader in goals (49) and points (76) added to her totals by contributing five goals and an assist in a 8-0 win over Worthington.
MacKenzie Bourgerie, North Wright County: The sophomore forward had five points in the River Hawks' 5-3 win over Willmar. Bourgerie assisted on the opening goal during a power play and had the only second-period goal. She added another goal on a power play and had two assists in the third.
Eryn Fjelstad, Rochester Mayo: The senior defender scored five of six Spartans' goals -- including two on the power play and one shorthanded -- in a 6-3 win over Mankato West.
Kylie Hanley, Hopkins/St. Louis Park: The senior forward eclipsed the 100-goal mark in her high school career with a hat trick in a 5-2 win over Minnetonka. She has 102 career goals.
Taylor Heise, Red Wing: The senior forward, who is second in the state in goals (42) and third in points (60), tallied nine points in a 12-2 win over Austin. Heise had five points by the end of the first period and finished the game with five goals and four assists.
Teagen Johnson, Mounds View: The junior goaltender turned aside a season-high 41 shots and posted a .976 save percentage in a 2-1 win over Forest Lake.
Leah Lood, Holy Angels: The junior goaltender faced nearly triple the amount of shots that her team produced on offense, backing the Stars to a 2-2 overtime tie with Bloomington Jefferson. She finished with 38 saves in 59 minutes of playing time while the Stars offense mustered 15 shots.

Camryn Steinberg, Mankato East: The senior forward scored six goals in a 8-2 win over Rochester John Marshall. Five of her goals were scored within an eight minute time frame in the second period.
