Lakeville South’s Morgan Fritz-Ward tied it at 2-2 with a shorthanded goal 1 minute, 35 seconds into the third period
• ANOKA 3, BLAINE 2 (OT): Junior Katie Johnson took a pass from Emilie Brigham and buried a low shot to the glove side of the goalie 4 minutes, 44 seconds into overtime as the Tornadoes outlasted the Bengals.
• BURNSVILLE 4, APPLE VALLEY 2: Forward Paige Skaja scored two first-period goals and linemate Megan Killmer scored a key shorthanded goal and added two assists as Burnsville won its first game of the season, beating the Eagles.
• CHISAGO LAKES 8, PRINCETON 3: Megan Lushanko and Katie Johnson each had a hat trick in the Wildcats’ victory over the Tigers.
• EDEN PRAIRIE 3, HILL-MURRAY 1: Senior forward Allie LaCombe’s power-play goal midway through the third period helped distance the Eagles against the Pioneers. LaCombe’s first goal of the game, in the second period helped erase a 1-0 deficit after the first period. Sophomore goalie McKenzie Johnson recorded 48 saves for Eden Prairie.
• ORONO 9, ST. LOUIS PARK 2: Millie Luedtke recorded a hat trick and three assists, lead the Spartans past the Orioles. Orono scored five times in the first period.
• SOUTH ST. PAUL 4, TOTINO-GRACE 1: The Packers jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the first period en route to a victory over the Eagles. Sophomore center Riley Viner led the Packers with two goals, which held a decisive shot advantage of 37-16.
• STILLWATER 4, HASTINGS 2: The first five goals were on the power play in the Ponies’ victory over the Raiders. Allison Eder-Zdechlik and Samantha Reiter each had one goal and one assist for Stillwater. The Ponies’ Libby Otto scored the only even-strength goal
• WHITE BEAR LAKE 8, EAST RIDGE 0: Sophomore forward Kristi Longendyke’s hat-trick paced the Bears over the Raptors. Junior Hayley Hill chipped in with one goal and three assists. Six different players recorded goals for White Bear Lake.
