2011 Upper Midwest Girls High School Elite I League
The Upper Midwest Girls High School Elite League I is a fall developmental hockey league where the top girls high school hockey players in the upper Midwest can play and practice with elite players of similar ability. Eligible players are of high school age and will be entering 10-12th grade in the fall of 2011.
UMHSEL is a non-profit, 501(c)3 program. Bauer Hockey is the lead corporate sponsor. USA Hockey, Minnesota Hockey, and the Minnesota Girls High School Coaches Association all endorse the league. Players are selected either through autobids to national camp participants, or league tryouts in the spring prior to fall league play.
