Edina at Stillwater
3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15

Edina ends a challenging week with a trip to Stillwater, the second ranked team the Hornets face in a four-day span. Edina, No. 5-2A, plays at Lakeville North, No. 6-2A, on Nov. 11.

Taylor Williamson leads the Hornets with six points after the senior forward scored five goals and recorded an assist in Edina's 10-1 victory over Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper in the season-opener on Nov. 6.

Sophomore forward Sophie Slattery finished with two goals and freshman forward Emily Oden had a goal and two assists for the Hornets. Senior forward Katie Murney and freshman defenseman Eva Hendrikson each tallied three assists. Freshman forward Lolita Fidler had a goal and an assist, and sophomore defenseman Grace Bowlby had two assists.

Stillwater, No. 12-2A, opened the season with a 6-0 win against Cloquet-Esko-Carlton on Nov. 8.

Senior forwards Carlie Hart and Sierra Smith led the Ponies in the victory. Hart had a hat trick and two assists; Smith finished with two goals and two assists.

Senior forward Georgia Eger had two assists and junior defenseman Olivia Arkell scored a goal and had an assist.

A victory over Edina could help Stillwater gain confidence as the Ponies look to get back into the Class 2A, Section 4 championship, where they lost to eventual state champion Hill-Murray last year.
