The Warroad Hockeytown Holiday Classic kicks off with a game featuring ranked teams from both classes as Warroad squares off against Dodge County.

No. 5-2A Dodge County (9-2-0) is looking to bounce back after a 4-2 loss at No. 6-2A Hill-Murray on Dec. 20.

Wildcats senior Dana Rasmussen has 18  goals and 32 points. She has scored a goal in all but one game.

No. 4-1A Warroad (6-4-1) is 4-2 in its last six games, losing only to No. 3-2A Roseau (4-1) on Nov. 29 and at No. 3-1A Thief River Falls (1-0) on Dec. 9.

Mariah Gardner has three goals and seven assists and Danika Huerd has three goals and four assists for the Warriors. Thirteen players have at least one goal for Warroad.

The Warriors won last season's matchup 4-3.
