Wayzata at Minnetonka
3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17

Scoring goals should not be an issue for No. 3-2A Minnetonka (14-5-0, 3-2) in this Lake Conference game. Annalise Rice has scored seven goals in the Skippers' last six games.

Minnetonka's defense is solid enough to keep No. 7-2A Wayzata (11-5-2, 2-3) from running away with the game should the Skippers' offense misfire. Minnetonka goalie Tatyana Delaitrre is allowing just 1.32 goals per game.

Sophia Shaver is Wayzata's only player with double-digit goal totals. The Wisconsin commit has 13, but does not have a goal in either game against Minnetonka this season. The Skippers defeated the Trojans 3-2 in the semifinals of the Mid-Winter Meltdown on Dec. 30, while Wayzata won 2-1 in a conference matchup on Dec. 16.

With four league games remaining, neither team is out of the race for the conference title. A victory in this matchup could help either chase down Eden Prairie.
