Hill-Murray at Wayzata
2:30 p.m.. Saturday, Jan. 24

Hill-Murray caps a stretch of three tough games with a bout at Wayzata, and the Trojans could be in a position to steal a win from a possibly fatigued Pioneers squad that has Metro East Conference games against Hastings and North St. Paul leading up to this contest.

No. 5-2A Wayzata (12-6-2) does have to take on Lake Conference rival Eden Prairie prior to the matchup with No. 4-2A Hill-Murray (14-5-0), though, so the Trojans might be just as tired going into this one.

This game may come down to goaltending, which is how it usually plays out with two dogged teams going at it, and Wayzata has the advantage of stalwart Sarah Stelter in net. Stelter has played every minute for the Trojans and has a 1.76 goals against average and .902 save percentage.

Hill-Murray's Becca Zarembinski could be the key to neutralizing Wayzata's edge. The senior leads the Pioneers with 19 goals and 33 points.
