Cretin-Derham Hall at Mounds View

Cretin-Derham Hall started a four-game winning streak Dec. 3 with a 1-0 upset of No. 6-2A Eden Prairie.

Junior forward Jordan Hansen (5-6-11) and freshman Ali Eiden (4-1-5) have jumpstarted the No. 8-2A Raiders (7-3, 5-1) during the recent run. Eiden has goals in each of the past two games while Hansen had goals in three straight before being shutout in a 4-1 win over Roseville on Dec. 12 .

Cretin-Derham Hall has just two seniors on this year’s team but sits atop the Suburban East Conference standings with upstart Forest Lake, which beat Mounds View 3-2 on Dec. 12 to knock the Mustangs out of a three-way tie for first place.

Mounds View (5-3-1, 4-2) has gone 1-3-1 in its past five and hasn’t scored more than two goals in each of those games.

Sydney Brodt (10-7-17) has three goals in the past two games and Rachel Anderson (7-8-15) had a goal and an assist in the loss to Forest Lake.
