Eden Prairie at Wayzata
4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19
Eden Prairie narrowly swept last year’s series with Wayzata, as both games were decided by one goal.
Maddie Wolsmann's goal with 1:17 to play tied the score and helped the Trojans force overtime, where Noami Rogge provided the game-winner just 3 minutes, 18 seconds into the extra period to give Eden Prairie a 3-2 win in the first meeting.
It was one of seven overtime games for the Eagles last year.
Angie Heppelmann’s second-period power-play goal was the difference in the second meeting.
Trojans goalie Sarah Stelter stopped 29 shots in the first game and had a season-high 31 in the second.
Wayzata’s last win over Eden Prairie came in the 2010-11 season.
