Moose Lake-Willow River features the state’s leading scorer Jessica Bird, who has 26 goals, while Owatonna boasts Jessica VonRuden, who ranks 10th in the state with 20 goals on the season.

It could be a high-scoring affair when the No. 20-1A Rebels (10-4) meet the No. 16-1A Huskies in a Red Division matchup at the Schwan Cup in Blaine.

Owatonna, which has won eight of its last nine games, is on a five-game winning streak thanks to VonRuden, who scored the game-tying and the game-winning goals in a 4-3 win over No. 14-1A South St. Paul on Dec. 19.
