Taylor Turnquist (20-9-29) has seven goals in the past three games for No. 20-2A Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids, and No. 7-2A Blaine will certainly pay close attention to the Clarkson commit.

Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids (9-3-1, 6-3) has gone 3-0-1 in its past four contests, including a 4-1 win over No. 16-2A Eagan on Dec. 17.

Paige Beebe (13-9-22) has back-to-back two-goal games for the Bengals (10-2, 7-2), who are third in the Northwest Suburban Conference standings, one game ahead of Spring Lake Park/Coon Rapids.

Freshman forward Ramsey Parent (9-10-19) has six points in the last two games, including three assists in a 4-1 win over Anoka on Dec. 19.

Since losing 4-2 to rival and No. 13-2A-ranked Centennial on Dec. 8, Blaine has won four consecutive games, including a 1-0 victory over No. 8-2A Elk River.

Sophomore goalie Jaela O’Brien has two shutouts this season and made 27 saves against the Elks. O’Brien is 6-1 with a 1.00 goal-against average and a .935 save percentage.
