Blaine vs. Elk River
3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21

Since dropping back-to-back games to Anoka and No. 3-2A Elk River in mid-December, No. 6-2A Blaine (14-2, 8-2) has rattled off six straight wins, including back-to-back shutouts of Northwest Suburban Conference North Division rivals Champlin Park and No. 9-2A Centennial.

Junior forward Gabby Rosenthal continues to pace a balanced Bengals offense. The Ohio State commit is fourth in the conference in goals (17) and third in points (41).

Conference leader Elk River (15-3, 10-1) presents a myriad of challenges for Blaine, but the Bengals can gain ground in the league standings with a win.

The No. 3-2A Elks have won nine of their last 10 games, thanks in large part to a lineup that features eight players with 10 or more points. It's an attack led by forwards Andrea Westgaard (10-17-27) and Kelsey King (12-12-24), who is a Minnesota State commit.
