Andover vs. Anoka
7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1

Andover may sport a record that is below the .500 mark, but the Huskies make for a dangerous team as long as Claire Butorac suits up.

The junior forward and Minnesota State commit paces the Huskies (10-12-1, 5-9-1) with 14 goals and 32 points and should be itching to score after going five games without a goal.

And the drama of a Northwest Suburban Conference North Division battle only heightens this matchup.

Losing two of its last three games could be the motivator for Anoka, as the Tornadoes enter the game just one spot above Andover in the divisional standings.

The Tornadoes (11-10-1, 6-8-1) are led by forwards Victoria Neumann (15-6-21) and Maddie Mashuga (12-9-21), two underclassmen who have performed well in their initial varsity seasons.
