This week's top games feature plenty of nonconference matchups, including this tilt between East Grand Forks and Rochester Lourdes.
The Green Wave heads south hoping to reverse course after some mid-season struggles. East Grand Forks (13-7-1, 5-4-1) has one victory (5-1 over Moorhead on Jan. 16) in its last four games and is coming off a 3-2 home loss to No. 6-1A St. Paul United.
With a team-high 25 goals, forward Cynthia Loven leads the offense for the No. 8-1A Green Wave. However, the senior hasn't scored since Jan. 9, when her team defeated Grand Forks (ND) 8-0.
Rochester Lourdes is also coming off a loss, falling to Minnehaha United 5-4 on Jan. 20. Sophomore Emma Schmitz tallied a goal and an assist in the game and leads the Eagles (12-9) in goals (29), assists (17) and points (46).
