Edina vs. Eden Prairie

7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30

Plenty of conference title races will be decided this week, and the chase for the Lake Conference crown might be the most intriguing. Tuesday's game between No. 1-2A Edina and No. 10-2A Eden Prairie will play a pivotal role in deciding which ends up at the top of the standings.

The Hornets (19-2-1, 6-1) come into this tilt looking for some revenge. One of Edina's two losses this season was to the Eagles, who left Braemar Arena on Jan. 13 with a 4-3 victory.

Edina can return the favor by relying on its bevy of scorers, including senior forward Emily Oden. The Minnesota commit has a team-high 23 goals after scoring once, and adding an assist, in Saturday's 3-0 win over conference foe Minnetonka.

The Eagles are coming off a 10-day break and will be determined to erase the sting of a 3-2 loss to Wayzata on Jan. 20, the first defeat in Lake Conference play this season for Eden Prairie (15-7-1, 5-1).

Eden Prairie has seen significant contributions from sophomore forward Sydney Langseth. The Minnesota State-Mankato commit has 19 assists and a team-high 24 goals, one of which she tallied in the Eagles' loss to the Trojans.
