Brainerd/Little Falls vs. Roseau

It took three overtimes for Brainerd/Little Falls to defeat Roseau 2-1 in the Class 2A, Section 8 championship and advance to the Class 2A state tournament a year ago.

On Friday, Roseau gets its chance at revenge as it hosts Brainerd/Little Falls for the first of two regular-season matchups this season.

The No. 10-2A Rams (8-1, 2-0) boast a potent offensive attack that is bolstered by 10 goals and 20 points from Kayla Santl, a junior forward who is committed to Bemidji State.

Brainerd/Little Falls is averaging 5.5 goals per game this season. Lindsey Booth and Cheyenne Abear lead the Warriors (4-1-1, 3-0-0) with more than 10 points each.
