Mound Westonka
vs. Holy Family Catholic

7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17

Mound Westonka is one of two teams in Class 1A yet to lose a game this season. Though, to keep the streak going, it will need to pick up two victories this week, including at Wright County Conference rival Holy Family Catholic on Thursday.

Two victories would go a long way toward helping the White Hawks (15-0-3, 5-0-3) keep pace with the Fire in the conference standings. Mound Westonka enters the week one point behind Holy Family Catholic, which owns the top spot thanks to three ties in league play.

Lauren Burris keeps the White Hawks offense humming. In 18 games, Burris has tallied 33 points.

The Fire (12-3-2, 7-1-0) begin the week as winners of four straight after losing 6-0 to Blake on Dec. 26.

Eighth-grader Taylor Koeppl leads Holy Family Catholic in goals (11) and points (26) through 17 games this season.
