Roseau vs. Thief River Falls

3:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26

Roseau’s most recent game, on Nov. 22 against Chaska/Chanhassen, had more twists and turns than a bowl of fettuccine.

The Rams (2-1-0, 1-0-0) recorded the first four goals (three by superstar forward Kayla Santl) and led 5-1 midway through the second period. Chaska/Chanhassen scored the next five goals to take a 6-5 lead with 2:57 to go, only to see Roseau’s Anika Stoskopf tie it with 2:14 left. The game finished in a 6-6 tie.

Roseau’s northern Minnesota neighbor, No. 9-1A Thief River Falls knows a bit about dramatic finishes, too. The Prowlers (3-1-0, 0-1-0) got an overtime goal from Khloe Lund in their most recent game, a 5-4 triumph over Orono on Nov. 23. The goal was Lund’s eighth of the season — no other Prowlers player has more than two.
