Speaking of teams on hot streaks, Farmington (9-5-0, 7-3-0) has won six straight, including a 4-3 overtime triumph over South Suburban Conference foe Shakopee (8-7-2, 6-3-2) on Dec. 21. 

Junior defender Liv Helleson secured that victory over the Sabers with a goal, her third of the game, 1:15 into the extra session. Helleson has seven goals this season, and shares the team lead with sophomore Minnesota commit Claire Enright and sophomore Sam Moehle.

Shakopee senior Paige McNeill, who has committed to Sacred Heart, is the team’s scoring leader with 17 goals — no other Sabers' player has more than eight.
